Families feel the pressure when a strong school record still looks thin as a university story. Grade 11 is the window to give that story depth. Grade 12 is the year the shortlist, essays, portals and visa work have to land. This page is the counseling product, not another destination brochure.

A student can have a real academic foundation and still lack a file that reads as a choice. Parents feel that gap most clearly when the intake is Fall 2027 or the student is already in Grade 11. Immediate work matters because testing, projects and demonstrated interest cannot be backfilled in September of Grade 12.

These are sequential programs. Many families use both. SAT, ACT or English testing is quoted separately if the file needs it. Public counseling fees are not listed here because scope changes with grade, destination mix and whether the student needs one country or several.

Grade 11 is the most useful window. Students still have time to choose projects, show demonstrated interest, sit standardized tests and write a coherent narrative before Grade 12 application deadlines arrive. Families targeting a Fall 2027 intake should treat the current year as the build year, not a wait-and-see year.
